Why Bibliokid?

My third children’s book I Want a Nickname launches to the public  on June 28, 2022. The experience I had with this book was completely different from Why Daddy Works and Why Mommy Works. This time I did not do self-publishing. Instead, I pursued hybrid publishing with Bibliokid Publishing. There were a few reasons why I did not do self-publishing this time around.

1.       Illustrators- Bibliokid provided illustrators for me to choose from and assisted me through the entire illustration phase. This was a big benefit for me because I did not enjoy looking for an illustrator during the self-publishing phase. I enjoyed the comfort of having a vetted illustrator.

2.       Editors- Bibliokid also provides in house editors to enhance your story for your audience. The editing phase was honestly the phase that I enjoyed the most. I enjoyed making my story better. The book you will enjoy in June looks completely different than the one I wrote on paper years ago.

3.       Kid Lit Launch School- Marketing is an important aspect of being an author whether you self-publish, traditionally publish and hybrid publish. Kid Lit Launch School provided me with affirmation on the marketing skills that I already possessed and provided additional valuable information that helped prepare me for my launch which is coming up soon (June 28, 2022) 😊

4.       Communication- The team is very response and communicated with me every step of the way. If miscommunication ever occurred via email the team was always willing to jump on a Zoom call to gain an understanding of my thoughts.

5.       Awards-The CEO is an award-winning author with publishing experience. I am also informed of different awards that my book qualifies for. This is information that I was unaware of when I published on my own.

6.       Women Owned- I loved that the company is woman owned and women operated.
